What is RMA?
RMA is short for “Return Merchandise Authorization”.
To the consumer, this is a process that helps the goods user to return a wrong function product, like if it's defective or damaged. When an item needs to return, the distributors/brand owner will advise their local team to process and collect the [wrong function item] back to the care center to fix and provide consumers with a replacement item or a refund.
To a distributors/brand owner, there is an SOP need the local team to strictly follow: to control the process of collect > update of RMA number > record status of the fail function goods > wait for green light (whether to fix, replace, or provide a refund) > sent it back to origin > send other replace item to consumer when get the feedback from distributors/brand owner.
This process makes returns smoother and ensures the end user has the best service for goods they consume money on.
